So I Thought I Could Dance!

"Darn it's hot out here - let's get on with it"

Yesterday was the National Dance Day celebration near my home.  I'm so glad it wasn't beastly like in weeks past.  Welllllllll, first off, I was the only adult dancing the dance that was choreographed by the two choreographers from the "So You Think You Can Dance" show.
Second off, there weren't many people there.  Mostly kids with their parents came - love kids anyway - some were very good dancers - a few boys - one group came from Baltimore.  Free drinks, pizza, popcorn, what else can you ask for?  Sunscreen?  I put mine on before we left the house.

So I warmed up in the bright sun, danced some Zumba and did "The Dance" over and over again.  I'm glad I learned it off the internet first.  It was so darn fast.  I wore my hat cocked to the side for the warm up which of course looked very "Yo Girl" but was to keep the sun off of my face - didn't want to ruin the ole facelift.
(By the way, my face is still intact and just a little swollen).

The dance was filmed and will be sent to "The Show" - I don't think we have any competition (cause ours certainly was not a big group).   I'm going to show a few pix of me.  I had a great time and felt good to sort of be performing again.
