More Buster and the Felted

Here's Buster at the window again.

What's that on the floor?  No, not the Felted!!

It's only the holder for my Chai Tea

What about the Felted?

After it dried, I still didn't like the colors - some seem a little muddied.  I think this was because the Shetland wool came through the Merino and it all seemed rather muted.  What to do?  It did have an old world kind of charm with the muted tones so I carried this theme through.  I'm not a fan of that look, but I had to do something.  I used some of the same roving and started to embellish.  Soon it began to look like a TAPESTRY.  Yes, yes...I had it!!   The more I added, the better it got.  I needlefelted a little heart and affixed it to the bowl.

So, what do you think?  I adore it!
So, where is it now?  You know it's not with Buster....I took it to The Muse - the shop in downtown Frederick where I have some of my other pieces.  I didn't want to part with it.  I didn't want to put it on Etsy because it needs to be felt (I mean, touched ha ha).   ANNNNNDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD,
Here's another one!  I took another little bowl I made and did the same.....again, it went to The Muse!  Now, I think I have found another way to enjoy my felting experience.  How about a new line of "Felted Tapestries"?????

Stay tuned for more adventures!
Thanks for looking.
